Cross Bore Program AnalystLocation: Joliet, Illinois (HYBRID)Contract- 3 YearsClient- Nicor GasPosition OverviewThe Cross Bore Program Analyst is responsible for independently collecting, analyzing, and reporting cross bore program data to support safety, compliance, and risk mitigation initiatives.This role collaborates with cross-functional teams, regulatory agencies, and industry organizations to ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements. The position also supports field investigations, program documentation, and continuous process improvements.The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, field awareness, and a deep understanding of cross bore safety principles and regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesData Analysis & ReportingCollect, analyze, and report cross bore program dataUtilize advanced software and analytical tools for reporting and risk assessmentMaintain accurate records of inspections, findings, and corrective actionsDevelop insights to identify trends and potential safety risksField Inspections & InvestigationsLead cross bore inspections and field investigationsDocument findings and ensure appropriate follow-up actionsEnsure inspections align with regulatory and company safety standardsCompliance & Risk ManagementCollaborate with regulatory agencies and industry organizationsEnsure program compliance with applicable safety regulationsDevelop and maintain cross bore safety protocols and proceduresProvide subject matter expertise on cross bore safety practicesProgram Support & Process ImprovementProvide administrative support for cross bore program initiativesContribute to process improvements and best practicesDevelop a foundational and ongoing understanding of cross bore program principlesMentor and guide junior cross bore program staffRequired QualificationsExperience in cross bore programs, utility safety, pipeline operations, or related fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to interpret regulatory standards and safety requirementsExcellent documentation and reporting skillsEffective communication and collaboration abilitiesProficiency in data analysis tools and reporting softwarePreferred QualificationsExperience in utility, pipeline, or infrastructure environmentsKnowledge of excavation safety and underground utility standardsPrior experience conducting field inspections or safety investigationsExperience working with regulatory agencies
