Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: A CRNA is an advanced practice nurse responsible for providing total anesthesia care to patients. This includes pre-anesthetic evaluation, anesthesia induction, maintenance, emergence, post-anesthetic care, pain management, and emergency response related to airway management and cardiac life support.

Minimum Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
- Current RN license in North Carolina or a compact state.
- Recognition as a CRNA by NCBON.
- Current AHA ACLS/BLS/PALS certification.
- Certification by NBCRNA.
- Current privileges as a CRNA at CarolinaEast.
- Insurable by a medical malpractice insurer for required limits.
- Demonstrated competency in responsibilities and privileges.
- Deliver outstanding customer service in line with CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.
