Role Overview
This position is for a Certified Nurse Anesthetist working within a team led by Dr. Marwan Wiggins. It involves providing anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Qualifications
- Current license as a registered professional nurse
- Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
Benefits & Compensation
W2: $230 per hour and paid medical malpractice coverage.
1099: $235 per hour; must provide own medical malpractice coverage.
