Job Summary:Consistently adhere to policies and procedures relative to the use of narcotics controlled substances.Participate in time-out procedures for every patient.Demonstrate evidence based judgment and take the appropriate corrective actions for adverse patient responses.Readily assist with pre-op and post-op evaluations; respond to codes, respiratory emergencies and hospital wide requests within a timely manner.Report promptly and be readily available to facilitate on time starts and room turnover.Work with a sense of urgency and utilize time and resources wisely.Appropriately evaluate, document, and communicate anesthesia status of patients as necessary.Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.Education:Graduate of accredited school of nursing. Graduate of accredited school of anesthesia by the AANA. Certified registered nurse anesthetist with Alabama licensure. Registered by the Alabama Board of Nurse Examiners.Experience:Prefer 2-3 years' experience as CRNA.Additional Skills/Abilities:ACLS, PALS and BCLS certification.
