About the Role
We're hiring on behalf of a global data center provider seeking a Critical Facilities Engineer in Ashburn, VA. This on-site role is vital to maintaining uptime, safety, and performance across critical infrastructure supporting leading tech and cloud companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain systems including UPS, PDU, ATS, generators, HVAC, and BMS
- Perform preventative/corrective maintenance using CMMS tools
- Create and follow SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs to ensure safe, consistent work
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to maintain uptime
- Support emergency response efforts and shift-based operations
What You’ll Need
- 3+ years of hands-on facilities experience (5+ preferred)
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in critical environments
- Ability to read schematics and write procedures
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work non-standard shifts; night shift to start
- Must pass a background check and have reliable transportation
- Certifications or licenses are a plus
