Critical Care/Trauma Physician Assistant

A dynamic role awaits an experienced Critical Care Board-Certified Advanced Practice Provider in a bustling medical facility. This position involves managing critical care cardiac ICU patients, including specific procedures and systems such as VA & VV ECMO, Impella, LVAD, and supporting cardiac transplants. The schedule offers flexibility with three 13-hour shifts weekly, encompassing nights, weekends, and holidays through March 2027.

• Schedule: Rotating, (3) 13-hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 8:00 AM
• Patient Population: Adult
• Location: Hershey, PA

• Manage HVI CCU patients under the guidance of an Intensivist
• Conduct daily rounding, patient management, and order entry
• Handle admissions and postoperative management
• Perform procedures such as arterial lines, central lines, Swan-Ganz catheter insertions, and IABP removal

• Board Certification required
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Experience in critical care cardiac ICU settings

• Three 13-hour shifts per week
• Rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Proficiency in managing cardiac ICU patients and critical care procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high-acuity setting
