Critical Care Physician (Intensivist - Nocturnist)

Kaweah Health is expanding its Intensivist team in Visalia, CA, seeking two full-time Nocturnal Critical Care Physicians. This role offers the opportunity to transform patient care and contribute to a community-based teaching hospital. Practice Info

• Join an ICU team of 10 physicians and 4 advanced practitioners at Kaweah Health.
• Work alongside a multi-disciplinary team within the unit.
• Kaweah Health is a community-based teaching hospital.
• Teaching hospital with Emergency Medicine, Anesthesia, Family Medicine, and Surgery residency programs.
• Nocturnist Intensivists will rotate through the 21-bed MICU & 20-bed CVICU (i.e. one Intensivist in MICU & one intensivist in CVICU overnight).

Responsibilities

• Rotate through the 21-bed MICU & 20-bed CVICU.
• Utilize Cerner, the hospital’s internal informatics platform to ensure efficient and accurate patient care documentation.

Compensation

• $275 per hour
• 1099 position
• Commencement Bonus

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time nocturnist Intensivist position.
• 10 night shifts per month.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible critical care physicians (MD or DO).
• Committed to excellence in clinical service.
• Forward-thinking.
• Demonstrate problem-solving abilities necessary in the ICU.
• Demonstrate the ability to work as a team member.
• Perform all technical skills in the critical care setting.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
