Critical Care Physician (Intensivist - Nocturnist)

Kaweah Health is seeking two full-time Nocturnal Critical Care Physicians to join their expanding Intensivist team in Visalia, CA. This role offers the opportunity to transform patient care and contribute to a community-focused teaching hospital. Practice Info

• Join an ICU team of 10 physicians and 4 advanced practitioners at Kaweah Health.
• Work alongside a multi-disciplinary team within the unit.
• Rotate through the 21-bed MICU & 20-bed CVICU (one Intensivist in MICU & one intensivist in CVICU overnight).
• Kaweah Health is a teaching hospital with Emergency Medicine, Anesthesia, Family Medicine, and Surgery residency programs.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through the 21-bed MICU & 20-bed CVICU.
• Utilize Cerner, the hospital’s internal informatics platform to ensure efficient and accurate patient care documentation.

Compensation

• $275 per hour.
• 1099 position.
• Commencement Bonus.
• Paid malpractice, including tail coverage.

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time nocturnist Intensivist position.
• 10 night shifts per month.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible critical care physicians (MD or DO).
• Committed to excellence in clinical service.
• Forward-thinking.
• Demonstrate problem-solving abilities necessary in the ICU.
• Demonstrate the ability to work as a team member.
• Perform all technical skills in the critical care setting.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
