Local Team Collaboration

• Join our team of Advanced Practice Providers and tele‑ICU physicians to provide exceptional patient care resulting in positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Board Certified Physician Assistant.
• Two years of experience as an independent provider in the ICU (with procedure logs).
• Montana Physician Assistants must demonstrate completion of 8,000 or more documented practice hours.
• Active Montana license and DEA preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling

• ICU coverage is 12‑hour day Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. working in collaboration with Sound tele‑ICU physician.
• Average of 15 shifts per month, modified block shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• 10‑bed surgical ICU with cardiothoracic patients and observation ICU patients, estimated 8 encounters per day.
• Work collaboratively with the cardiothoracic surgeon, nursing staff, respiratory therapists, consultants and other hospital team members to deliver high quality, evidence‑based critical care services.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and implement patient treatment plans.
• Perform bedside procedures within scope of practice including central line and arterial line placement and intubation. Manage mechanical ventilation in collaboration with respiratory therapy.
• Participate in goals of care discussions and family communication.
• Participate in quality improvement and performance initiatives as determined.

Rewards and Compensation

• Annual salary, $200,000 plus based on 15 12‑hour shifts per month.
