Sound Physicians is seeking a dedicated Intensivist to join their team at Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, South Carolina. In this day shift role, you will provide exceptional patient care within a 20-bed closed ICU and teach internal medicine residents. Practice Info

• Aiken Regional Medical Centers is a 273 licensed-bed acute care hospital, primary stroke center, and community-based teaching hospital that offers a comprehensive range of specialties and services.
• 20-bed closed ICU (med/surg/cardiac surgery population), staffed with one intensivist from 7am-7pm with teleICU covering nights as a day shift only role.
• Internal Medicine Residency program with residents always present in the ICU during the day.
• Close collaboration with emergency medicine and hospitalist services, as well as colleagues in other departments on committees including stroke, sepsis, and practice guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent patient care in our 20-bed ICU.
• Teach internal medicine residents.
• Work collaboratively within the ICU with all team members and across the hospital.
• Utilize Cerner EMR.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible critical care physicians (MD or DO).
• Ability to perform all technical skills in the critical care setting.
• A commitment to excellence in clinical service, with strong problem-solving abilities essential for the ICU setting.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
