Critical Care Medicine Physician Assistant Locum Tenens Opportunity in New Jersey

We are seeking an experienced physician assistant or APN specializing in critical care medicine for a locum tenens position in New Jersey. This role involves providing inpatient critical care for ongoing 12-hour shifts. The average number of ICU patients per day is 9, with 3 admissions per physician per day. The unit has 26 beds, shared with the trauma team. Candidates must be proficient in invasive ventilation management, central line and arterial line insertions, and ICP evaluation and management.

Responsibilities

Provide inpatient critical care for ongoing 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• APN or Physician Assistant
• New Jersey license
• Critical Care Medicine experience
• BLS, ACLS (must be American Heart Association issued)
