Overview: The Critical Care/Infectious Disease Physician at Aurora Medical Group, Inc. will provide critical care assessment and consultative services to patients in our Surgical ICU, Medical and Respiratory ICU, and CICU. Responsibilities include delivering, coordinating, and overseeing critical and infectious disease care for liver and kidney transplant, bone marrow transplant, and heart transplant recipients, as well as patients receiving immunomodulatory therapies in the intensive care unit. The physician will analyze pre‑ and post‑admission records, reports, test results, and examination information to diagnose and assess medical conditions, treat patients by prescribing or administering medication, therapy, vaccination, and other specialized care, record patient medical history during hospital admission, maintain close communication with other physicians, and refer patients to additional specialists or hospital services when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Medical Degree (M.D.) or foreign equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine.
• Completion of an accredited fellowship in Infectious Disease.
• Completion of an accredited fellowship in Critical Care Medicine.
• State of Wisconsin medical license.
