Department: Pharmacy Services Inpatient

Schedule: Full-time | Day Shift

How you'll make an impact in this role

• Collaborate daily with the multidisciplinary ICU team during patient rounds to design, implement, and monitor patient-specific pharmacotherapy regimens.
• Provide real-time clinical guidance and precise dosage adjustments during medical emergencies, including cardiac arrests, strokes, and rapid response activations.
• Manage high-risk medication therapies, including continuous infusions, advanced sedation, analgesia, and targeted antimicrobial stewardship.
• Oversee the safe preparation, compounding, and dispensing of critical care medications in strict compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
• Educate pharmacy staff, nurses, and physicians on complex drug protocols, adverse drug reactions, and optimal medication safety practices.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Pharmacist credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.

What additional requirements you'll need

• PGY2 highly preferred.
• Critical Care or cardiovascular ICU experience highly preferred.
• M-F 7a-3:30p, every 4th weekend.
