Critical Access Medical Billing Specialist

To enhance revenue management, the full-time Remote Critical Access Medical Billing Specialist will generate revenue through payment arrangements, collect delinquent accounts, and maintain Medicare bad-debt cost reports. Key responsibilities Generate revenue by establishing payment arrangements and collecting accounts Monitor and pursue delinquent accounts, including following up with insurance providers Maintain Medicare bad-debt cost report and secure outstanding balance payments Required qualifications Proven work experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role Solid understanding of billing software and electronic medical records Experience with Meditech Expanse or Epic systems Direct experience working with insurance companies Critical access hospital and rural health clinic billing experience required
