We are seeking dedicated Crisis Service Professionals to provide on‑call crisis response, risk assessments, and mobile support for individuals experiencing mental health emergencies.
Responsibilities include responding to crisis calls, conducting risk assessments, offering brief crisis counseling, and connecting clients to community resources. You will meet clients in various settings such as homes, hospitals, and law enforcement locations, respond to emergency situations, document interactions, and collaborate with community partners to improve service delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related fields
- At least one year of experience with mental health clients preferred
- Knowledge of community resources and relevant laws (Chapters 34, 51, 55)
- Strong crisis assessment, decision-making, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and professionally under pressure
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and clean motor vehicle record
