Providing compassionate support to individuals in crisis, the full-time, fully remote Crisis Counselor - Indiana Licensed will engage with clients over the phone, assess emotional distress, and develop safety plans while maintaining a secure, HIPAA-compliant workspace. Key responsibilities: Engage with individuals experiencing emotional distress, providing support and resources over the phone Maintain a secure, HIPAA-compliant workspace to ensure confidentiality and focus Assess risk and document interactions accurately while developing coping strategies for callers Required qualifications: Strong background in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related behavioral healthcare field Experience in crisis support or similar roles is highly valued Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends Must have a secure workspace with a stable, wired internet connection Successful completion of a six-week intensive training program is required for continued employment
