Key Responsibilities- Analyze criminal law materials, including statutes, case law, court filings, and case documents, to identify relevant insights.
- Review and edit complex legal documents for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with established standards.
- Summarize legal arguments, decisions, and procedural issues for legal AI training materials.
- Explain intricate legal concepts and reasoning in concise, accessible language.
- Provide actionable feedback that supports accurate, practical legal content.
- Stay current on criminal-law statutes and case-law developments and apply new knowledge to project work.
- Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams using digital platforms to meet project milestones.
- JD or LLM from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
- Substantial criminal-law practice experience, especially in BigLaw or another major law firm environment.
- Demonstrated legal research, analysis, writing, and editing experience in criminal matters.
- Ability to review and synthesize high volumes of legal information with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain nuanced legal issues clearly.
- Sound ethical judgment and commitment to high professional standards.
