Job Description:
Bread Basket Deli is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Crew Member to join our team. As a Crew Member, you will play a vital role in providing excellent service to our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our deli.
Responsibilities:

Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.

Handle cash transactions and maintain a balanced cash register at all times.

Prepare delicious and high-quality sandwiches according to customer preferences and company standards.

Assist in food preparation tasks such as slicing meat, chopping vegetables, and preparing ingredients.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli counter, dining area, and kitchen to uphold food safety standards.

Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, answering their questions, and addressing any concerns or special requests.

Uphold a positive attitude and work effectively as part of a team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers and staff.

Assist with receiving and stocking inventory as needed.
Requirements:

Previous experience in a fast-paced food service or retail environment is preferred but not required.

Ability to learn quickly and efficiently operate a POS system.

Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-oriented attitude.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Willingness to learn and follow food safety and sanitation procedures.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
