Crew Member for Front of House
The Crew Member for Front of House is responsible for providing excellent guest services and working a variety of customer experience positions. A successful candidate will be outgoing, communicate well with others, and ensure that guests are provided with an exceptional experience with the goal of creating repeat business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs functions of a cashier by operating a point of sale system to take orders and process payments, including the ability to count correct change.
- Ensures completion and accuracy of order before delivery to the customer's table after preparation.
- Assists with filling of orders by cupping sides in accordance with Outlaw's BBQ portion control standards.
- Knowledgeable about the Outlaw's BBQ menu items.
- Replenishes items needed for service, such as trays, napkins, utensils, etc.
- Ensures food quality, temperatures, and holding times on prepared menu products in accordance with operating procedures.
- Ensure product availability and customer impression of the beverage station.
- Replenishes side menu items in holding wells and ensures quality, temperatures, and holding times are observed.
- Anticipates needs and assists with side menu preparation as needed.
- Responsible for cleaning tables and resetting them for new seating; ensuring tables are set in accordance with company standards and guests achieving a pleasurable dining experience.
- Clears dishes from tables.
- Assists other team members with maintenance (side work, opening/closing duties) as necessary.
- Assists in maintaining cleanliness of the restaurant/property including disposal of trash and debris from outside parking lot, cleaning windows and other general cleaning requirements assigned by management.

- Ability to anticipate needs of the customer and proactively work to meet those needs.
- Able to work variable shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands of the Job:
- Be able to reach, bend, squat, stoop, shake, carry, push and lift items throughout the shift.
- Good hearing for accurate communication.
- Occasionally uses a step stool.
- Consistently kneels to utilize proper lifting procedures.
- Consistently lifts for product preparation, stocking, and inventory.
- Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers.
- Frequently stoops to pick up supplies and trash.
- Ability to work standing and walk for 8 hours or more per day.
- Consistently sees during all activities.
Education and Experience:
- Experience in a limited service restaurant is preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is desired, but not required.
