Duties
- Advise clients on debtor insolvency, work‑outs, and loan modifications.
- Represent clients in debt recovery and bankruptcy proceedings.
- Prepare and file proofs of claim, writs of attachment, garnishments, and related pleadings.
- Handle motion practice and court appearances.
- Negotiate settlements and guide clients through strategic resolution of claims.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Alaska Bar, or eligibility to waive in.
- 4+ years of relevant legal experience (collections, creditor representation, or bankruptcy preferred).
Education
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Admission to the Alaska Bar, or eligibility to waive in.
