Credit AnalystPrague, OKOnsite Position902 W. MainPrague, OK 74864Full TimeProvide support to commercial banking staff in the on-going credit evaluation of existing and prospective customers. The Credit Analyst analyzes the financial health of commercial borrowers and is responsible for gathering and reviewing credit information making recommendations for credit lines based on required criteria.

The Credit Analyst interacts with a variety of professionals and represents the bank in interactions with clients and other professionals.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending moneyGenerate financial ratios to evaluate a customer's financial statusPreparing industry researchPreparing financial analysis memorandumsPreparing loan memorandumsAttending loan committee meetingAttending weekly sales meetingsResearch, identification and development of prospectsMaking customer and prospect callsDeveloping information requests for credit and/or deposit and treasury service opportunitiesPreparing term sheets for credit requestsPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.

Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Agribusiness, or Agricultural EconomicsExcellent customer service skillsStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent interpersonal skillsDemonstrates an understanding of credit management, credit operations and commercial lendingAbility to perform in a highly sensitive environment and maintain confidentialityHigh level of attention to detail, with strong problem solving and organization skillsAbility to perform effectively in a fast-paced environmentWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, ExcelComplete all required compliance training by established deadlinesConstant use of computer screens and reading of reportsAbility to operate a computer keyboard, multi-line telephone, photocopier, scanner and facsimileRegularly required to sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hearIntermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouching to file materialsRegularly lift and/or move and carry up to 5 poundsHometown service, statewide strength.
