Credit Analyst

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Credit Analyst role based in Ft. Wright, KY. The Credit Analyst reviews and analyzes financial statements, credit reports, and other data to assess the creditworthiness of individuals and businesses. Daily responsibilities include preparing written credit memoranda, assessing risk levels, recommending credit limits or loan structures, and monitoring existing credit relationships for performance and compliance. The role collaborates closely with loan officers and other banking staff to support sound lending decisions, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements. The Credit Analyst also contributes to portfolio management by tracking key metrics, identifying trends, and providing timely insights to management. Ideal candidates would be located in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area or willing to commute daily to Ft. Wright, KY or Carrollton, KY.

Qualifications

• Strong credit management and credit analysis skills, with the ability to assess risk and recommend appropriate credit structures.
• Advanced analytical skills, including the ability to interpret financial statements, cash flow projections, and industry data.
• Effective communication skills for preparing clear credit memoranda and collaborating with loan officers, clients, and internal teams.
• Foundational knowledge of finance, banking principles, and lending practices, including familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Ideal candidates will have at least three (3) years of credit analysis experience.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple analyses and deadlines.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet and financial analysis software; experience with banking or loan origination systems is beneficial.
