Join us in making a real difference in the health of our community.Job SummaryProvides administrative support for daily Credentialing Department operations, focused on efficient provider onboarding.ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions:Comply with Credentialing Policies and Procedures, departmental guidelines, and company standardsSupport onboarding processes for medical and ancillary providers across multiple states, ensuring timely completion of required tasksConduct outreach to providers to obtain required information, schedule onboarding-related calls, and respond to questionsGuide providers through online credentialing application completion; review for accuracy and completeness and follow up to resolve missing informationScan, upload, and maintain provider documentation within the credentialing systemCoordinate provider onboarding access and account setup, including facilitating surrogate/delegate access for systems such as NPPES, PECOS, CAQH, and NYS Provider Secure Portal (PSP)Facilitate completion of credentialing-related applications (e.g., DEA, NPI) and associated applicationsDocument onboarding activities, communications, and updates within the credentialing systemPrepare weekly onboarding and credentialing status reportsCollaborate with HR, Recruitment, Operational Leaders, and other departments to support timely onboarding completionMaintain credentialing files for active providersComplete additional duties and special projects as assignedProvide coverage and support to other Credentialing team members as neededOther Duties:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.QualificationsEducation/ Work Experience:High School Diploma RequiredExperience:Minimum of at least six months in a healthcare setting: providing clerical support or medical credentialing assistance.
