Supporting credentialing and payer contracting activities, the full-time remote Contracting & Credentialing Specialist will manage provider credentialing processes, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and serve as a liaison between providers and payers. Key responsibilities Coordinate end-to-end provider credentialing and re-credentialing processes with payers Prepare and track credentialing applications through CAQH and payer portals Maintain accurate provider credentialing files and monitor credentialing timelines Required qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred 3+ years of experience in provider credentialing, licensing, and/or managed care contracting Strong working knowledge of state boards, CAQH, and credentialing workflows Familiarity with ACHC, AASM, CMS, and state regulatory requirements Credentialing certification (CPCS or CPMSM) is a plus
