THE OPPORTUNITY


The LPGA’s Creative Director is a visionary leader responsible for shaping and advancing the league’s visual identity and creative output across all platforms. This role serves as a co-architect of the LPGA’s brand future—driving innovation, elevating storytelling, and ensuring a modern, athlete-first, culturally relevant presence.


Reporting directly to the VP, Content & Platforms, the Creative Director leads a high-performing creative team while partnering cross-functionally to originate bold campaign ideas and deliver best-in-class creative that grows fan engagement and global reach.


WHAT YOU’LL DO



  • Lead the evolution of the LPGA’s visual identity to reflect a modern, athlete-first, culturally relevant brand

  • Own and direct the end-to-end creative strategy from concepting through execution

  • Build and lead a high-performing creative team and culture

  • Originate and develop creative concepts for major campaigns and tentpole moments

  • Ensure consistency of brand expression across all platforms

  • Partner cross-functionally across social, content, partnerships, broadcast, and BI teams

  • Translate cultural moments and fan insights into proactive creative strategies

  • Oversee workflows, production pipelines, and team output

  • Direct art direction for video, photography, and design

  • Manage vendors, agencies, and freelancers

  • Oversee print production and quality control

  • Integrate AI and emerging tools into creative workflows

  • Other duties as assigned


WHO YOU ARE



  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Creative Direction, Marketing, or related field

  • 7–10+ years of progressive experience in creative, design, or brand roles, with 3–5+ years leading teams

  • Proven ability to concept and lead breakthrough creative campaigns—not just execute briefs

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence across digital, social, video, and brand systems

  • Experience leading cross-functional creative initiatives across content, partnerships, and media teams

  • Deep understanding of cultural trends, fandom, and storytelling in sports, media, or entertainment

  • Demonstrated success building and scaling creative teams and workflows

  • Fluency in modern creative tools, including Adobe Creative Suite; experience with motion/video tools (Premiere, After Effects) preferred

  • Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools and emerging technologies impacting design and content creation

  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and events as needed
