Position Description
Redrock Entertainment is seeking a Creative Director to lead the conceptual vision across live events, immersive activations, branded environments, and experiential productions. This is a senior leadership role for a bold, strategic creative who can shape ideas from the earliest stages of a pitch, champion them through client engagement, and guide multidisciplinary teams from concept to execution. The Creative Director serves as the creative anchor across projects by generating original concepts, leading client presentations, and working in close partnership with business development, design and production teams. This role requires big-picture thinking and hands-on storytelling, with the confidence to represent Redrock's creative voice externally and the collaborative instinct to bring the best out of internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Drive the creative vision for pitches, proposals, and active projects across all Redrock divisions
- Generate original concepts for live events, film premieres, IP-led experiences, brand activations & pop-ups, and other immersive experiences
- Lead ideation sessions and translate abstract briefs and client goals into clear, exciting creative directions
- Establish and maintain a strong creative point of view that reflects Redrock's brand and ambition
- Stay current on trends in live entertainment, experiential design, culture, and brand marketing
- Serve as Redrock's primary creative voice in client-facing meetings, pitches, and presentations
- Partner closely with the Business Development team to respond to RFPs, pursue new business, and build client relationships
- Lead the development of pitch decks, concept ideation, and presentation narratives
- Build trust with clients through confident, clear communication and a strong command of creative vision
- Supervise contract and in-house design resources to develop and evolve concepts and presentations
- Collaborate with Production teams to ensure creative intent is carried through execution
- Provide clear creative direction and constructive feedback to design, production, and freelance partners
- Mentor creative team members and contribute to a collaborative, creative, and inspiring culture
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in experiential design, live events, brand activations, or creative agency environments
- Proven track record leading creative for large-scale, high-profile projects
- Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to inspire clients and internal teams
- Strong visual sensibility and the ability to art-direct designers, photographers, and vendors
- Experience working in a pitch-driven creative environment
- Familiarity working with brands and marketing teams, with an understanding of how creative concepts ladder up to broader brand strategy
- Confident communicator and collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Deep familiarity with the experiential production process, from ideation through on-site delivery
- Based in the Los Angeles area and available for in-office work in Burbank
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
