nDrive sales growth and maintain strong client relationships with employee benefit brokers and consultants, stop loss carriers, and various clinical point solutions providers. Responsible for understanding client’s needs, assessing risk profiles, and recommending tailored solutions to protect their financial interests.
nThis is role is remote; however, it will require travel and in person meetings with health insurance brokers. Our teams are able to collaborate using video and screen sharing technology which means you'll feel like you’re part of the team while also enjoying the convenience of working from home.

nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES

nLeverage the existing network of benefit advisors to retain consulting services.
nIdentify and pursue new business opportunities within the target market to achieve sales targets.
nConduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and key decision makers.
nDevelop and maintain a strong network of industry contacts to leverage for sales and business development activities.
nPrepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
nCollaborate with the internal teams to develop customized solutions that meet client needs.
nStay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new sales strategies.
nCollaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of client services and solutions.
nBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, serving as their primary point of contact.
nConduct regular agent/broker meetings to understand their evolving needs and provide proactive risk management recommendations.
nConduct detailed risk assessments and analyses to identify potential gaps in an employer’s insurance coverage.
nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinicians, underwriters, actuaries, and claims professionals, to develop comprehensive risk management solutions.
nContribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies, marketing campaigns, and product enhancements.
nActively participate in team meetings, providing input to contribute to the team’s overall success.
nTravel required.
nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

nAssociate’s degree preferred.
nMust have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in selling or marketing in a Self-funded insurance environment.
nProven track record of success in sales and client relationship management industry, with a focus on stop-loss.
nIn-depth knowledge of Self-funded employee benefit plans, stop loss insurance, and risk management principles.
nCERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
nLife and Health License required.
nFUNCTIONAL SKILLS
nStrong analytical skills with the ability to assess risk profiles, analyze data, and develop innovative solutions.
nExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
nDemonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet sales targets within deadlines.
nProficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
nCommunicate effectively with all levels of internal and external personnel, both verbally and in writing.
nDetermine when situations need to be escalated to Company management.
nWork in and contribute to a positive team environment.
nManage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
