Crane Operator 2nd Shift

Job Opportunity At Heidtman SteelHeidtman Steel is looking for dedicated team members to join our facility in Butler, Indiana. We are currently seeking experienced overhead crane operators for 2nd shift.Responsibilities Include:Safely operate remote overhead crane, forklifts, and combi lifts to load and unload trucksStore finished goods in the warehouseMaintain accurate inventory recordsReceive incoming materials and enter them into the computer systemStage loads, band materials, and generate tagsInspect coils for correct gauge, width, and any visible damageMaintain a clean and safe work environmentRequirementsPrevious experience operating remote overhead crane and forklifts is a plusAbility to read micrometers, calipers, and other measuring toolsComputer literate in order to maintain associated production documents.Ability to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication and organization skillsAttention to detailCommitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspaceThis is a physically demanding job which requires standing, bending, twisting, stooping and the ability to move up to 20 lbs.Company Information:Heidtman is a family owned business, and we treat our employees like they are part of the family.
