Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Crane / Forklift Operator to safely operate cranes, forklifts, and related material-handling equipment. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and experienced in moving heavy materials in a warehouse, yard, construction, or industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, cranes, and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Load, unload, move, and position materials and equipment
- Inspect equipment before each shift and report any maintenance or safety issues
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA requirements
- Secure and properly handle loads to prevent damage or injury
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and ground personnel
- Perform other material-handling duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous crane and/or forklift operating experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification required; crane certification preferred
- Ability to safely lift, move, and position heavy materials
- Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions when required
- Ability to pass any required drug screening and background check
