Job Summary (Virtualization Engineer - CR288)
- Lead and coordinate multiple concurrent migration projects (M365, Azure, Nutanix) with strict deadlines.
- Migrate workloads and applications from VMware to Microsoft Azure and M365 environments.
- Deploy and transition Data Center and remote office systems from VMware to Nutanix virtual environments.
- Review, develop, and optimize architecture and migration plans for Nutanix and Azure in collaboration with vendors and internal SMEs.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to IT teams, ensuring issue resolution and escalation as needed.
- Develop automation solutions (e.g., using Ansible, Python) to streamline tasks and improve efficiency.
- Ensure architecture and systems meet security best practices and optimize Azure spending.
- Lead project design, implementation, system administration, and infrastructure support activities.
