CPC Certified Revenue Cycle Auditor

Providing advanced auditing of revenue cycle functions, the remote Auditor II, Revenue Cycle will conduct comprehensive audits covering registration, coding, billing, and collections while collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve system-related issues. Key responsibilities Conduct comprehensive revenue cycle audits and evaluate billing system performance Analyze claim workflows to identify root causes for delayed or inaccurate reimbursements and support billing corrections Prepare technical audit reports and collaborate with the Revenue Optimization Audit team to ensure compliance with coding standards Required qualifications Current Certified Professional Coder (CPC) from AAPC or AHIMA required or must be obtained within 1 year 4-6 years of auditing or revenue cycle experience, with anesthesia specialization preferred Proficiency in claims, denial trends, and payer contract interpretation Advanced understanding of revenue cycle processes and healthcare compliance standards In-depth knowledge of healthcare billing systems such as Athena, Epic, or Cerner
