To support a growing healthcare practice, the full-time remote CPC Certified Cardiology Coder will provide coding and abstracting services for outpatient and emergency room medical records using ICD-10-CM, CPS, and CPT coding systems while mentoring new coders and maintaining current coding knowledge. Key responsibilities Review medical records to identify relevant diagnoses and procedures for coding Abstract information from medical records according to client guidelines and clarify ambiguous documentation with physicians Mentor and educate new coders, ensuring adherence to coding principles and guidelines Required qualifications CPC certification is required A minimum of 3 years of professional fee cardiac coding experience Proficiency in coding Clinic E&M and CPTs Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding principles and guidelines Experience with Epic/3M 360 coding systems
