CPC Certified Billing Manager

To oversee the Professional Coding Operations team, the full-time remote CPC Certified Billing Manager will manage coding accuracy, supervise staff, and collaborate with revenue cycle stakeholders to address coding denials and improve operational efficiency. Key responsibilities Supervise and mentor professional billing coders, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and productivity standards Conduct quality assurance reviews of coding practices and provide training to staff based on audit findings Analyze coding denials and trends, partnering with the Coding Education Team to develop educational programs for providers Required qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience CPC - Certified Professional Coder certification required At least five years of coding experience, including education and mentoring roles Minimum three years of management experience in a coding environment Extensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding conventions and hospital reimbursement methodologies
