CPC Certified Anesthesia Coder

To support a growing medical practice, the remote Coder I will abstract data from anesthesia records into the MD Cloud Practice Solutions platform, ensuring accurate CPT and ASA coding while meeting team KPIs. Key responsibilities Review anesthesia documentation for required elements and abstract surgical procedures from CPT to ASA codes Identify and assign care team providers, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and modifiers Meet daily production and quarterly coding audit score requirements while adhering to company policies and procedures Required qualifications Current CPC certification; CANPC is a plus Minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical coding, with anesthesia coding preferred Experience with multiple EMRs and documentation types, including handwritten and electronic records Proficient in ICD10 coding guidelines and basic charge capture platforms High school graduate or equivalent
