CPA Investment Accounting Manager

Managing the day-to-day operations of the investment accounting team, the remote Assistant Vice President, Investment Accounting Manager will oversee month-end and quarter-end close processes, perform detailed investment analysis, and support financial reporting under multiple accounting standards. Key responsibilities Onboard new investment portfolios and build out associated financial reporting processes and controls Manage the compilation of quarterly and yearly financial reports, including footnotes and statutory investment exhibits Facilitate external audits and maintain internal control environments supporting investment accounting Required qualifications Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Accounting or Finance with CPA or equivalent certification Minimum of 7 years accounting experience, including 3+ years in investment accounting within insurance/reinsurance Experience managing and developing a team of investment accounting professionals Strong analytical skills and proficiency in U.S. GAAP and STAT investment accounting principles Familiarity with Clearwater investment accounting platform is highly desired
