To support a growing renewable energy developer, the full-time remote CPA Financial Controller will manage financial reporting, oversee accounting operations, and lead budgeting and cash management processes while ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Key responsibilities: Prepare and deliver accurate financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and manage the general ledger Lead the annual budgeting process and prepare rolling cash flow forecasts tied to project expenditures Design and maintain internal controls, establish accounting policies, and support due diligence processes for project buyers and investors Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation strongly preferred 7-10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior financial role Direct experience in renewable energy development, with a strong understanding of the development lifecycle Solid knowledge of GAAP, particularly in revenue recognition and capitalization of development costs Experience with Acumatica accounting software or similar platforms is a plus
