CPA Financial Controller

Overseeing accounting operations and financial reporting, the full-time remote CPA Financial Controller will manage month-end close processes, ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, and support organizational growth through financial insights and team leadership. Key Responsibilities Drive the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Serve as the primary point of contact for auditors and coordinate annual financial statement audits Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial reporting requirements and oversee tax compliance processes Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA designation strongly preferred 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role Strong experience with financial reporting, external audits, and regulatory compliance Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP and federal, state, and local tax regulations Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
