CPA Financial Controller

As Ostium's Controller, the full-time remote CPA Financial Controller will direct accounting operations, implement financial frameworks, and ensure robust month-end close processes while reconciling both traditional finance and onchain activities. Key responsibilities Own the monthly and quarterly close, consolidating fiat and onchain activity into US GAAP financials Manage digital asset accounting, including crypto treasury and wallet-level reconciliation Build reconciliation and control infrastructure, leveraging AI tools for efficient data integration Required qualifications Active CPA with deep US GAAP fluency and experience in audit-ready financial closes Hands-on experience in both traditional finance and crypto/digital asset accounting Experience at a broker-dealer, hedge fund, or trading firm with relevant accounting responsibilities Proficiency in reading block explorers and reconciling onchain data Fluency with ERP systems like QuickBooks and crypto subledgers
