For the right individual, the potential for growth and income is unlimited.Key Qualifications:CPA license required; advanced degree in tax, law, or accounting preferred5–10 years of experience in a public accounting firm, with a focus on trusts and estatesStrong leadership and client-facing skillsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in problem-solvingProficient in tax software, trial balance tools, spreadsheets, and research platformsFamiliar with GAAP, FAS, SAS, GAAS, and general ledger structuresResponsibilities Include:Prepare and review estate and trust fiduciary accountings and related tax filingsLead fiduciary accounting services and coordinate with attorneys, courts, and fiduciariesOversee general trust and estate administration, including distributions and recordkeepingManage judicial and non-judicial accountings and participate in quality control reviewsAdvise on trustee and executor actions, including investment and funding analysisCompute trustee commissions, unitrust/annuity payments, and tax estimatesSupport the final settlement and closure of trusts and estatesInterpret governing trust documents to ensure proper accounting allocations
