Leading a team of accountants, the remote CPA Eligible Assistant Controller will oversee the preparation of property financial statements, ensure compliance with accounting principles, and maintain regular communication with clients regarding their financial performance. Key responsibilities Supervise accounting activities for a specific team, ensuring timely delivery of financial statements Communicate with clients to discuss financial performance and address accounting inquiries Coordinate with operational teams to prepare and approve financial budgets for properties Required qualifications Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance CPA Eligible or CPA Preferred Previous experience in third-party multi-family property management Experience leading or managing a team of accountants Strong understanding of financial concepts and excellent organizational skills
