CPA Client Accounting Director

Leading a successful Client Accounting Services practice, the full-time salaried CPA Client Accounting Director will develop a team of professionals, enhance client advisory capabilities, and drive strategic insights while working remotely for a growing CPA and advisory firm. Key responsibilities Develop and mentor team members to transition from traditional accounting roles to proactive client advisors Enhance the firm's advisory services, focusing on cash flow strategy, KPI development, and operational consulting Evaluate and implement technology solutions to improve client outcomes and operational efficiency Required qualifications 8+ years of progressive experience in public accounting, CAS, or related advisory roles Strong leadership and client-facing experience, with a focus on developing people Experience with modern cloud accounting and financial technology platforms CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and think beyond traditional accounting functions
