The Courier Driver is responsible for efficiently picking up and delivering packages across the Greater Houston/Galveston area using their personal vehicle. This role requires someone familiar with local routes or able to effectively follow GPS directions. The driver will handle packages weighing between 1 to 35 pounds from both local businesses and personal residences while maintaining clear communication and timely delivery.
Responsibilities
* Navigate routes accurately using GPS on Android or iPhone devices
* Pick up packages from local businesses and personal residences
* Deliver packages safely and on time
* Interact professionally with customers during pickups and deliveries
* Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules
* Follow directions precisely to ensure accurate deliveries
Qualifications
* Have Standard size SUV, small Van or cargo van
* 1+ years of experience in delivery driving
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
* Proficient with GPS navigation
* Strong time management skills
* Effective communication abilities
* Customer service oriented
* Attention to detail and reliability
* Pass Drug Screening & Criminal Background check
