We're looking for a Courier & Parts Coordination Specialist to join our team. We are seeking a responsible, organized, safety-conscious driver to handle both traditional courier responsibilities with additional duties related to the stock of IT parts and assets within your assigned vehicle. The ideal candidate will enjoy being behind the wheel, seeing new places, and meeting new people. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely pickup and delivery of packaged IT equipment directly to and from customer facilities. A key function of this role will include ordering, replenishment, returns, and asset reconciliation, are completed daily. This ensures that stock levels are maintained to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and operational needs.ResponsibilitiesOperate company designated vehicles to make pickups and deliveriesCoordinate with on-the-ground Technician parts deliveries and transportationManage parts and assets at optimal stock levels with a focus on meeting defined Service LevelDocument all deliveries, returns, and inventory movements accuratelyWork closely with field technicians to understand parts needs and ensure they have the necessary equipment delivered in order to meet SLAsUse navigational technology to find and follow optimal routesAssist with regular vehicle inspections, arranging maintenance when necessaryRefuel vehicles and ensure they're always ready for useRequired skills and qualificationsUnderstanding of inventory control processes and basic logistics is requiredTime management les and SLA requirements for parts managementValid driver's licenseClean driving record for at least one yearAbility to drive for extended periodsStrong commitment to safetyExcellent navigational skillsGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to stand, walk, pack, unpack, delivery vehiclesAbility to lift and manually transport packages and equipment up to 50lbsSkills & Qualifications2+ years of experience in a courier or logistics role, preferably within the IT or technical services industryFamiliarity with IT hardware and components is a plusValid commercial driver's licenseExperience driving in a professional capacityExperience using GPS technologyExcellent time management and organizational skillsAbility to perform basic vehicle maintenanceFamiliarity with the local areaWage Range: The hourly rate for this position is between $15.75 - $21.00 per hour, unless the local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
