Focused on enhancing cyber threat defenses, the full-time remote Counter-Threat Intelligence Engineer will collect and operationalize threat intelligence, perform ethical hacking, and collaborate with various teams to improve security measures and incident response. Key responsibilities: Collect and analyze threat intelligence from internal and external sources to inform defensive strategies Conduct adversary-focused research and ethical hacking to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements Partner with Security Operations to develop and validate detection mechanisms and response workflows Required qualifications: 5+ years of progressive cybersecurity experience, including 2 years in threat intelligence or related fields Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification preferred, with consideration for other relevant certifications Proven knowledge of the cyber kill chain, MITRE ATT&CK, and common attack techniques Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, XDR/EDR, and vulnerability scanners Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
