Responsibilities:
• Implement occupational therapy interventions, including activities, exercises, and adaptive equipment
• Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions, as well as participate in group activities and programs
• Document resident progress, develop and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, family members, and caregivers to ensure comprehensive care
• Participate in staff meetings, in-service training, and educational programs to stay current with best practices and industry developments
Requirements:
• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of Arkansas
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant studies or related field
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse needs and abilities
• Familiarity with occupational therapy assessment and treatment techniques
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
