Job Overview
The Cost Engineer will be responsible for evaluating and estimating project costs across various phases of capital management projects.
This role involves close collaboration with clients, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate cost planning, reporting, and control.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to understand the scope and scale of projects.
- Travel to job sites, as required, to gather information on materials, labor, and other cost factors.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and architects to support project planning and execution.
- Consult with industry experts to validate and refine cost estimates.
- Identify, analyze, and quantify all cost components associated with projects.
- Utilize relevant software tools to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Prepare and present detailed cost reports to clients and stakeholders.
- Review and monitor expenditure statements throughout all project phases to ensure cost efficiency and accuracy.
Experience Requirements
- Level II: 3–5 years of relevant experience in cost engineering, project estimation, or a related field.
