The ideal candidate will conduct cost analyses and help identify cost reduction opportunities throughout the entire product life cycle from concept through development, production, and field operations. This position supports Client’s Future Vertical Lift team.Position Responsibilities:Performing varied simple to moderate analyses of aircraft systems including preparation of parametric, analogous, and detailed bottom-up cost estimatesSupporting design trade studies and cost reduction initiatives throughout the product life cycleSupporting supplier engagements with “Should Cost” analysis of aircraft systemsEvaluating part manufacturing processes for cost out opportunitiesEstablishing cost targets and reporting cost performance metrics for integrated product teamsEvaluating costs of equivalent supplier products for best valuePreparing Independent Cost Estimates (ICE) for proposal evaluationsPromoting standardization of cost engineering best practices across Bell programs*Position Requirements:2+ years of experience in a wide range of estimating activities is preferred but not requiredPrior experience working with U.S.
