Join us and be part of a company dedicated to making a difference for pets and their families every day.We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accounting Clerk to support product costing, inventory management, production reporting, and pricing activities.

This role works closely with Accounting, Purchasing, Operations, and R&D to ensure accurate costing and data integrity.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).Maintain material conversion records and coordinate related purchase orders.Verify work orders and production costs.Prepare daily production efficiency reports.Assist with month-end closing activities.Update customer pricing and costing information.Support product costing and process improvement initiatives.Follow GMP and Food Safety requirements.QualificationsAssociate degree in Accounting, Business, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.6 months to 1 year of experience in accounting, costing, manufacturing, inventory control, or data analysis.Strong Excel, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Experience with ERP, accounting, or inventory systems preferred.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.Physical RequirementsRegularly sit and use hands for typing and handling materials.Occasionally stand, climb, walk, reach, or lift up to 10 lbs.Close, distance, color, and peripheral vision required.Work EnvironmentModerate noise level.Manufacturing/office environment.Redbarn® Pet Products is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.Redbarn® Pet Products complies with federal and state disability laws and makes reasonable accommodations for applicants and employees with disabilities.
