This role will assemble information from sources throughout the company and verify, reconcile, record, adjust, and prepare required Financial Control Reports relating to Merchandise Sales, Cost of Sales, and Inventories, including the following:Cost of Sales: Prepare and verify the inventory adjustments, including Cost of Sales, POS Markdowns, Transfers, Vendor Allowances & Price Protection, Intra-Co. Fees from Service Department, Inventory Shrink & Obsolescence, Shipping & Freight Costs, RTV Cost of Sales Adjustments, Destroyed Merchandise, and Purchase Discounts.Merchandise Inventory: Prepare and process inventory adjustments to ensure the accuracy of the Inventory System (IPMS).Reports: Maintain and modify when necessary, reports reflecting daily sales and COGS for all divisions of Micro Electronics, Inc.Physical Inventory: Participate in Physical Inventory three times per year.
