Our client is seeking a Cost Accountant to support product costing, inventory analysis, and financial reporting within a manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with operations, procurement, and engineering teams to provide accurate cost data and support key business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze product costs and maintain costing data
- Support inventory reconciliations and cycle counts
- Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close
- Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) and labor routings
- Conduct variance analysis and cost-saving evaluations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial initiatives
- Provide ad hoc reporting and business analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1-3 years of accounting or finance experience
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong Excel skills required
- ERP system experience preferred xhqgsiq
- SQL and reporting tool experience a plus
- Strong analytical and communication skills
